ZDF is the second largest TV stations in Germany and also popular in the german-speaking countries. At Serviceplan Munich I had the pleasure of contributing to the Redesign of the off-air promotion which was developed in collaboration with another agency.

The Redesign explained

The most prominent feature of the updated design is the different usage of the promotion-circle. Designers can either choose from an orange gradient circle behind the protagonist or a so-called colour-picking circle that can be placed in front or behind the motif. In addition, the circle can be placed much more flexible, it only needs to be a minimum size. The headlines are placed in all-caps and left-justified – with the exception of format logos that are designed to be centred, then also the rest of the text changes.
